Publisher: Digital Earth Australia (Geoscience Australia)
Dataset: DEA Fractional Cover (PV / NPV / BS)
Vintage: 2023 annual composite
Resolution: 25 m raster (Landsat-derived)
How we use it
Raster zonal statistics over each lot polygon
Mean photosynthetic vegetation (green), non-photosynthetic vegetation (dry), and bare-soil fractions are computed by averaging all 25 m pixels within each lot polygon.
Limitations
Cloud and shadow gaps can affect annual composites in wet regions. Crop senescence vs bare soil can be ambiguous in some seasons.

Publisher: DCCEEW + ABARES (Cth)
Dataset: Forests of Australia (NFI)
Vintage: 2023 release
Resolution: 100 m raster (binary forest / non-forest)
How we use it
Raster zonal statistics over each lot polygon
Forest-cover percentage is the mean of the binary forest mask within the lot — 100 % cells are fully forested, 0 % are non-forest.
Limitations
Forest definition uses NFI canopy / area thresholds — may differ from local definitions. Recent clearing (within ~12 months) may not yet be captured.

Publisher: NSW Spatial Services (DCS)
Dataset: NSW Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB)
Vintage: Updated continuously
Resolution: Per-lot polygon
How we use it
Lot/DP polygon used as the spatial unit for zonal stats
Limitations
Subdivisions registered in the last few weeks may not yet be reflected.
